DIANA AMONG THE HUMANS

Diana among the Humans is a book of photographs that explores the gap between the cheery chaos of life and the form and deeper meaning that art and myth strive to achieve. We no longer live our lives steeped in religious certainty and myth but we still love all those stories and images from Greek and Roman times. Diana the goddess is now fully human and offers little help or consolation on the crazy treadmill of our lives. But people still go to galleries and stop to study works of art. This is where time stands still just long enough for them to step outside their normal lives and believe for a moment that life has some order and meaning.
